You may start full account deletion in the app or send a request without reinstalling or signing in to the app.

This page applies to YouRhema, operated by YOURHEMA LLC. Never send your password, verification code, or payment credentials in a deletion request.

Delete your entire account

From the YouRhema app

  1. Sign in to YouRhema.
  2. Open your Profile, open the menu, and select Settings.
  3. Select Deactivate account.
  4. Review the deletion information, select Continue, and re-enter your current password.
  5. Confirm the action. This immediately deactivates the account and starts the 30-day deletion process.

Request deletion from the web

You may request full account deletion without using the app by emailing support@yourhema.com with the subject YouRhema account deletion request.

Include the email address associated with your account and your current username, if known. We may ask you to complete a reasonable identity-verification step before acting on the request. Do not send your password or a verification code.

What happens after a full deletion request

  • Immediately: the account is deactivated, hidden from normal use, active sessions are revoked, and enabled push registrations are disabled.
  • For 30 days: you may restore the account by signing in and completing the restoration flow.
  • After 30 days: restoration is unavailable and permanent cleanup removes normal account and product data. Cleanup may require retries, but the account does not return to normal user surfaces.
  • Backups: encrypted recovery backups may contain earlier data for up to 30 additional days before they expire.

Data deleted through permanent cleanup

Subject to the limited retention described below, permanent cleanup removes:

  • Normal account and profile information.
  • Posts, comments, captions, likes, follows, blocks, feedback, and received notifications.
  • Authentication, recovery, session, and enabled push-device records associated with the account.
  • Profile, cover, post, and video media owned by the account, including associated storage objects through the cleanup process.
  • Normal media-processing and moderation records owned by the account when the approved purge contract requires removal.

Data that may be retained

Some limited information may remain after normal account data is deleted:

  • Encrypted recovery backups for up to 30 days after permanent cleanup.
  • Payment, refund, dispute, tax, accounting, fraud-prevention, and legally required records for the period required by applicable law and payment-provider obligations.
  • Restricted safety or enforcement evidence only for as long as reasonably necessary for safety, appeals, fraud prevention, investigations, or legal obligations. Identifying details are removed where the approved purge contract requires it.
  • An anonymized account-lifecycle record and limited identifiers needed to prevent abuse or impersonation.

Retained information is not restored as a normal YouRhema account and is not used for advertising.

Delete specific data without deleting your account

You can remove supported data while keeping your account active:

  • Delete a post from its available menu.
  • Remove or replace your profile and cover photos through the profile controls.
  • Edit supported profile and account fields in Account Details or Edit Profile.
  • Clear locally stored recent searches through the available search controls.

For eligible data that cannot be removed directly in the app, email support@yourhema.com with the subject YouRhema data deletion request. Describe the data you want deleted and include the account email address and username. We may verify account ownership first.
